Neale Woods Nature Center:
This privately owned nature preserve includes nine miles of trails through 550 acres of deep forests, hilltop
prairies, and riverside woodlands along the Missouri River. This park offers extensive wildlife viewing,
birdfeeding stations, and a seasonal butterfly garden. The park is open weekdays from 8-5 and on Sunday
afternoons. A 190 specie checklist is available. Admission fee.
Located north of Interstate 680 and the Mormon Bridge. Follow John J Pershing Dr (which turns into North River Road)
3 miles north of the Mormon Bridge, turn left at White Deer Lane and left on Edith Marie Ave.

Two Rivers State Recreation Area:
Two Rivers has 622 acres of land, with 320 acres of water. The area consists of timbered river bottom forest,
marshes, and croplands. A variety of amenities and activities are available. State Park entry permit required.
Located 1 mile south, 1 mile west of Venice, State Highway 92.

Glenn Cunningham Lake
This 1438.6 acre park includes trails, playgrounds, and camping services. It is the largest flood-control
reservoir in the area and is used by migrating waterbirds.
Located between 84th and 96th streets off of I-680.

Hummel Park and Dodge Park
These adjoining parks have grown into 450 acres of land located in the bluffs north of Omaha along the Missouri
River. Wooded trails, paths and overlooks into the Missouri River Valley provide the perfect opportunity to
explore nature. Various activities and amenities are available.
